Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cut the slider buns in half, horizontally, keeping the bottom buns attached and the top buns attached (if possible).
Place the bottom half of the buns in a baking dish.
Layer each bun with a slice of pineapple deli ham, topped with a pineapple ring and a maraschino cherry.
In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, teriyaki sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
Brush the tops of the sliders with the teriyaki brown sugar sauce, ensuring each one is generously coated.
Evenly sprinkle the shredded cheddar all over the sliders.
Place the other half of the buns on top, creating sandwich sliders.
Brush the remaining sauce over the tops of the sliders.
Optionally, sprinkle sesame seeds over the sliders for added texture and flavor.
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the sliders are heated through and the cheese is melted.
Remove from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. You may need to gently run a knife through the sandwiches - at the natural divisions of the rolls - to ensure the sliders will pull apart easily.
