Ingredients

  • 20 slices Rye party bread (rye. sourdough, or pumpernickel)
  • 8 oz Spinach dip must be thick
  • 1 oz Colby Jack cheese ¼ cup; shredded; can use other varieties

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Using a medium cookie scoop, scoop one spoonful of the spinach dip onto each slice of bread.
  • Top each slice with a bit of shredded cheese.
  • Bake bread for 7-8 minutes or until the bread takes a toast-like texture on the edges. (Keep an eye on it so the dip doesn't overcook and dry out.)
  • Serve warm.
