Turkey and Cheese Sandwich in Air Fryer

Equipment

  • 1 air fryer

Ingredients

  • 2 slices Bread Sandwich bread of your choice
  • 3 tbsp Mayonnaise Or butter or Country Crock
  • ½ cup Mozzarella Shredded - you can use a second slice of sliced cheese if you do not have shredded chees;. You can also use asiago cheese.
  • 2 slices Turkey deli style
  • 1 slice Cheddar

Instructions

  • Spread the mayo or the butter on one side of each bread slice. Be sure to reach the edges of the bread.
  • Place one bread slice (spread facing down) in the air fryer.
  • Sprinkle with 1/2 the shredded mozzarella and add both slices of turkey on top.*
  • Add the next half of mozzarella and then the cheddar.
  • Place the second piece of bread on top with the spread facing up.
  • Cook in air fryer at 375° for four minutes.
  • Flip and cook another three-four minutes. Bread should be nice and brown. If cheese is not gooey enough for your liking, cook one more minute.

Notes

*If using sliced mozzarella and not shredded, simply tear the slice in half so you have some cheese against each slice of bread.
