Easy Green Chile Queso (Pulled Pork Cheese Dip)

This easy green chile queso has a little kick. Opt to add leftover shredded pork to make this a pulled pork cheese dip. Also, you can choose to make this dip on the stove top or in a slow cooker.
Serve this warm pulled pork dip to guests with pita chips, corn chips, tortilla chips, or cut pieces of flour tortillas. It also makes a great sauce for Tex-Mex foods.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Sour cream
  • 8 oz Cream cheese
  • 8 oz Mexi-blend cheese shredded; or substitute shredded cheddar - about 2 cups
  • 8 oz Oaxaca cheese grated or sliced into small pieces
  • 4 oz Green Chilies diced
  • 10 oz Rotel undrained
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 2 cups Pork cooked and shredded with no sauce; (optional)

Instructions

Stove Top Green Chili Dip (Pulled Pork Cheese Dip)

  • In medium saucepan on medium heat, add all ingredients in order as listed.
  • Once cheese is melted, remove pot from heat.
  • Serve green chili dip with pita chips, corn chips, or tortilla chips.

Slow Cooker Green Chili Dip (Pulled Pork Cheese Dip)

  • In slow cooker, add all ingredients, in order as listed.
  • Heat on low for two hours or until cheese is melted and dip is gooey, stirring occasionally.

Notes

*The pulled pork is optional in this green chile queso.
