Disclosure: I did not receive any form of compensation for this review on the treehouse cabins in Eureka Springs. This is simply a review of my experience at The Grand Treehouse Resort.
The Hubs and I felt the full effects of fall in Arkansas during our one-year (already?!) anniversary trip to Eureka Springs last weekend. We had heard about these treehouse cabins in Eureka Springs, and we know how beautiful northwest Arkansas is during the fall. This was an ideal location for our anniversary trip. Not only was the drive beautiful (even if I did have to take my Dramamine), but the little treehouse cabins were the most adorable cabins ever! Take a look for yourself!
Treehouse Cabins – Eureka Springs – My Bird’s Eye View
The treehouse cabin we booked is called Swiss Chalet #1. There are several rental areas with tree house cabins in Eureka Springs. The Hubs and I researched them all, and I definitely felt the tree house cabins at The Grand Treehouse Resort of Eureka Springs had the most luxe and glam vibe of all the ones in the area. I fell in love with all of the modern touches in an otherwise rustic setting.

Inside our Luxury Treehouse Cabin Rental
I loved every detail about our treehouse rental – from the door to the bedding to the floor. Just look at this glammed up sleeping area! For the birds? I think not!
To the back of the treehouse cabin was a small balcony with a sitting area, and I do believe there may have been an outdoor shower. Since we were there on a chilly fall weekend, I didn’t explore the outdoor features all that well. As for a bathroom area, we had our choice of a jacuzzi tub or a shower. Although I didn’t get any pictures, there was a small kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker to the left of the bath tub. There were no dividing walls in the cottage which made the place feel quite spacious.
What it’s Like to Stay in a Treehouse
When a friend saw my pictures after the trip, she left me this Facebook comment, “The first thing I thought when I saw these pics was – if the house is a rockin’ don’t come a knockin’. LOL!”
Haha…these little treehouse cottages are definitely high in the air and give you a bird’s eye view of the earth. These treehouse rentals are nestled inside an area of forest which really gives the whole bird house idea some authenticity.
It was a fun experience, and at around $150-$160 a night, it is no pricier than many standard hotels. The location is just minutes from the eclectic downtown area of Eureka Springs. The treehouse resort is not a bed and breakfast. You are on your own for food, which was fine by us. The Hubs and I enjoyed perusing the vintage shops and restaurants of this quaint little town during the daytime. As for the evening times, the resort’s office had a nice selection of movies that you could take back to your cottage to watch.
Here is a picture of the tree house next door. Can I just move in permanently?!
I would definitely recommend a stay at The Grand Treehouse Resort to any of my fellow Arkansas peeps or anyone traveling to Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
