Loaded baked potato dip is the perfect party food for a holiday potluck or party! The creamy texture and the added toppings bring together an unexpected type of dip.
If you are a baked potato fan, this dip is worth a try!
I love a good baked potato, but the Hubs thinks it is too much trouble to load up a potato and get it prepared like you want it. This warm baked potato dip with cream cheese is a great alternative.
Any recipe with green onions, cheese, and bacon is worth a try! By the way, if you are looking for a quick way to make the bacon, be sure to see how to make grilled bacon on George Foreman grill.
When to Serve Loaded Baked Potato Dip
Sometimes, during the holiday season, things are so hectic that I feel frantic over the holiday potluck duties. I’m not alone in this, right? The great thing about this is that you can double the ingredients and cook double batches at once to get two holiday dishes in one hour or so of effort.
This dip can be served with crackers, chips, or bread slices. And it could be kept warm in a slow cooker, though I would probably add a touch of milk to keep it from drying out too much.
Other Favorite Dips and Party Foods
Some of my favorite dips to take to parties are corn dips, cheese dips, and spinach-artichoke dips. Meaning, this type of dip is off the beaten path for me. But sometimes it’s nice to have something different among the sea of cheese dips.

Another favorite party food of mine is one from my own childhood. You might say these sausage cocktail bread appetizers are a bit on the vintage side. But they are so good. Both the cocktail bread appetizers and this loaded potato dip are great party food ideas!
