Well, hey, hey, friends! It’s party season, and I’m here today to share with you the most amazing key lime pie dip! This sweet dessert dip is modeled after my very popular key lime pie (one of the most popular recipes on this website). As much as I LOVE the key lime pie, we do have to admit that pie isn’t always the easiest party food. This no bake key lime cheesecake dip is so easy to disperse and dip into. Give it a try!

Ingredients
I played around with my original key lime pie recipe and made some changes to allow the mixture to work as a dip. This stuff is so good!
- Cream cheese
- Condensed milk
- Key lime juice
- Zest from key limes (or regular limes)
- Cool Whip
- Graham crackers or vanilla wafers for dipping and crumbling
Key Limes or Bottled Key Lime Juice?
Some people are full-on pro key limes when it comes to key lime desserts. I go back and forth – and a lot of it has to do with how much time I have. It is true that there is just a brightness and intensity from the juice of fresh fruit that bottled juices just can’t seem to 100% match.
But it takes roughly 20-25 key limes for 1/2 cup of key lime juice. There are many times when I simply don’t want to take the time to squeeze 25 key limes – especially when I can just reach for my handy dandy bottle of Nellie and Joe’s Key Lime Juice! This stuff is incredible! I’ve been using it for years.
True story: back during the pandemic, I got mildly panicked at the idea that my Joe and Nelly’s Key Lime Juice might disappear from the shelves like so many other products did during that time. I mean…how silly for that thought to panic me like that. It was an irrational thought that came out of nowhere – with no basis. But my worry shows you just how good that stuff is!
So…I am Team Key Limes and Team Bottled Key Lime Juice…just depends on the day.
Making Key Lime Pie Dip
The only thing standing between you and this tangy, creamy dip is a mixing bowl!
To begin, add all ingredients (detailed in the recipe card below) into a mixing bowl. You will need a good zester to zest the key limes. Check out that five star rating! And if you are squeezing your own key limes, this lemon squeezer is highly rated for having a high extraction rate compared to some other juicing tools.
Tips for Key Lime Pie Dip
- If you are unable to find key limes at the store, you can use regular limes for zest.)
- Start out with 1/2 cup of key lime juice. Give a taste test. If you prefer a little more tanginess, add up to 1/4 cup more key lime juice.
- The sprinkling of the graham cracker crumbs in three different layers is optional. It allows for a nice aesthetic, but it mostly unnecessary as far as taste as the crumbs will become soft layered into the dip so they won’t actually taste like crumbs at all.
- Instead of sprinkling graham cracker crumbs, you can also sprinkle vanilla wafer crumbs. I typically just grab some of the store-bought graham cracker crumbs we usually have on hand. But you can definitely crumble your own graham crackers for the layers of crumbs.
Once the dip has reached a creamy consistency, it’s time to plate it up and set out your favorite dippers for eating. Vanilla wafers are really good, but graham crackers really give this dip a true key lime pie zing.
