Pan Seared Brussels Sprouts

These pan seared Brussels sprouts are ready in around 15 minutes. With a crispy outer edge and a soft meaty centers, these skillet fried Brussels sprouts with honey sriracha sauce are to die for!

Ingredients

For Pan Fried Brussel Sprouts

  • 2 tbsp Olive oil Or vegetable oil
  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts
  • tbsp Spicy seasoning Any spicy pepper blend seasoning will work like Big Poppa's Desert Gold, chipotle seasoning, or a combination of chili powder/cayenne/garlic powder

For Honey Sriracha Sauce

  • 1/4 cup Sour cream
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tsp Sriracha

Instructions

To Prepare Fried Brussel Sprouts

  • Heat the oil in a heavy skillet.
  • Remove outer damaged leaves, trim off the heads of each Brussels sprout, and cut in half lengthwise.
  • When oil is hot, gently add the sprouts and shake the pan so oil evenly reaches all sprouts.
  • Dust sprouts with the spicy seasoning.
  • Cook for 4-5 minutes so that the sprouts sear a bit.
  • Stir sprouts around and cook for another 5-6 minutes. Multiple edges of the sprouts should be crispy and seared.

To Make Honey Sriracha Sauce

  • In a small bowl, mix sour cream, honey, and sriracha sauce until smooth.
  • Top seared Brussels sprouts with honey sriracha sauce or put into serving dish for dipping.
