For Pan Fried Brussel Sprouts
- 2 tbsp Olive oil Or vegetable oil
- 1 lb Brussels sprouts
- 1½ tbsp Spicy seasoning Any spicy pepper blend seasoning will work like Big Poppa's Desert Gold, chipotle seasoning, or a combination of chili powder/cayenne/garlic powder
For Honey Sriracha Sauce
- 1/4 cup Sour cream
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 2 tsp Sriracha
To Prepare Fried Brussel Sprouts
Heat the oil in a heavy skillet.
Remove outer damaged leaves, trim off the heads of each Brussels sprout, and cut in half lengthwise.
When oil is hot, gently add the sprouts and shake the pan so oil evenly reaches all sprouts.
Dust sprouts with the spicy seasoning.
Cook for 4-5 minutes so that the sprouts sear a bit.
Stir sprouts around and cook for another 5-6 minutes. Multiple edges of the sprouts should be crispy and seared.
To Make Honey Sriracha Sauce
In a small bowl, mix sour cream, honey, and sriracha sauce until smooth.
Top seared Brussels sprouts with honey sriracha sauce or put into serving dish for dipping.
