If you were to ever come by my house in early January, you will see I waste no time in popping up my Valentine’s Day door decor. Today, I’m sharing our fun Valentine’s day porch ideas to help inspire your Valentine’s Day porch decor!
To be honest, I feel kind of silly sometimes at how early my Valentine’s Day porch gets set up. However, once I pull down the Christmas decor, I just can’t stand the bare porch! Sometimes, I put up a rustic-y winter porch. Other times, I go straight to the Valentine’s porch!
Valentine’s Day Door Porch
My favorite Valentine’s Day door decor actually comes from Dollar Tree! I connect multiple tinsel heart wreaths together for a budget-friendly and fun Valentine’s Day door.
However, I have learned over the years that I have to grab my heart wreaths early! Sometimes, if I wait closer to the end of January, the wreaths are mostly sold out! I guess great minds think alike!
Valentine’s Day Window Decor
I keep command hooks on my front windows year-round so I can pop small window wreaths up for various holidays throughout the year.
These small tinsel heart wreaths are perfect for windows and they match the front door tinsel hearts. This set of 9 foil tinsel hearts would be nice to work a number of decorative arrangements. You could put some on the windows and hang the two larger hearts together on a string for the door.
Liven Things Up with Valentine’s Plants
These Valentine’s plants really liven up the Valentine’s porch…hehehe….get it?! I found these cute little plant pots with hearts at my local Marshall’s last year. I have used them inside and outside over the last two years.
Amazon has super cute heart pots.
This 6 inch black and white flower pot with a red heart is so eye-catching! There is also another spotted black and white pot version with a green heart. Keep in mind 6 inch pots are small and hold…well small plants. Sometimes when you order pots online, you aren’t quite prepared for how small some of them are.
Here is another 6 inch striped pot in a wooden stand. This red cement heart pot has an interesting texture. This gold and white striped pot is a classy choice for a Valentine’s flower pot. This pink glazed orchid heart pot.
How fun for Valentine’s Day is this LOVE flower pot set for your Valentine’s Day porch decor?
In my plants, I like to poke little heart picks (also from Dollar Tree) into the pots. They add a pop of holiday fun. If you can’t find any at Dollar Tree, you should be able to find some similar ones at Hobby Lobby. These plastic heart picks from Amazon double as card holders.
The door mat is from Kirkland’s. I have since found a new one from Hobby Lobby with black hearts on it which I will use next year.

Pillows from thrift stores paired with IKEA pillow cases add some soft texture to the porch benches.
Many people ask me where I got our black metal plant holder that I hang on our porch. It came from our local At Home store several years ago. I love it because I can decorate it for all seasons and holidays! Here, I just put in a few more of the heart picks.
