Today, two teacher friends and I are sharing 20 ways to style your school spirit wear! Whether you love those school days of wearing teacher t-shirts or you don’t, this post is for you! Seriously, don’t you have like 5 teacher t-shirts in your closet?
No lies here. For a long time, I was in the second camp. I just didn’t like wearing staff shirts.
Oh, I got all the buzz around spirit wear. Well-designed staff shirts unify the staff and help remind the students and parents we are one big team. School pride. Team pride. Many teachers truly love to show their school loyalty and ignite some friendly competition with their school spirit wear. Other teachers just love a day of teacher t-shirts so they can wear jeans. They don’t want to think about putting together an outfit. And they want to be comfortable. Also, a staff committee (or a single staff member) put in a lot of time and effort in carefully brainstorming the design and wording of each shirt.
I understood all those things. But I still didn’t care much for wearing school t-shirts, personally.
However, like most things in teacher life, whether I liked wearing teacher t-shirts or not was a moot point. Therefore, to make myself happy about my growing collection of school spirit wear, I learned to have fun styling my school staff shirts in unexpected ways. It’s become an exciting challenge over the years, really!
A Little Help From My Friends
For this post, I thought it would be fun to ask a few of my coworker friends to help me style some teacher outfits to share. These lovely ladies love wearing spirit wear, and they always wear it so well! Together, we compiled 20 different outfits with teacher t-shirts. These casual outfit ideas would also work with non-school affiliated shirts such as witty teacher shirts from The Wright Stuff.

Where can we find this blazer? The red one?
The Gifted Gabber
Hi Angela! I bought the jacket several years ago at a little boutique in Arkansas so I am not sure where you could find it now. However, I did a search on Amazon and found this stretchy, red blazer that looks very very similar. In fact, I may order one in a different color…like the hot pink! Hope this helps! https://www.amazon.com/FASHIONOMIC-Womens-Stretch-Cardigan-CLBC001/dp/B07GM693RL/ref=sr_1_51?dchild=1&keywords=red%2Bwomen%27s%2Bblazer&qid=1628566810&sr=8-51&th=1&psc=1
