Making this Festive Peppermint Cream Cheese Dip
The only thing standing between you and this Christmas dip is a mixing bowl!
To begin, add all ingredients (detailed in the recipe card below) into a mixing bowl – ending with the crushed peppermint and Cool Whip.

Tips for Festive Peppermint Dip
- If you want to add a bit of color, you can add one drop of pink or red food coloring which will color this dip a pretty pink – perfect for girly holiday parties! It’s also perfect for any pink themed events in the winter season. Don’t want your dip to carry the pink tint? Simple. Just omit the pink food coloring! You will have a pretty cream-colored dip.
- If you want your peppermint dip to have a deeper pink, add two-three drops of food coloring instead of one. Just be careful and use small drops as the color can intensify quickly.
- Make sure to taste test the dip. I would start with 1/2 tsp peppermint extract and move up from there. I am happy with the one teaspoon, but it is all a matter of taste!
Once this peppermint cream cheese dip has reached a creamy consistency, it’s time to dish it into a nice bowl and set out your favorite dippers for eating. Vanilla wafers give a “peppermint ice cream cone” vibe. And graham crackers really give this dip a peppermint cheesecake dip vibe! You can also use cinnamon chips as we did in our photos for this post.
