Only Two Ingredients for a Halloween Syringe Mocktail
You only need two ingredients for this fun Halloween syringe drink – mocktail style!
Yep…just two. Though you can add an additional garnish, if desired.
- Sprite
- Grenadine (We like Rose’s Grenadine)
- Maraschino cherries (optional)
Adding Alcohol
Now, should you wish to change our Halloween mocktail into a Halloween cocktail with alcohol, that can be done very easily. Simply add your favorite liquor to the lemon-lime soda of your choice. (We like Sprite.) And, boom, you have yourself one fun Halloween syringe cocktail.
Our favorites to add to Sprite are:
- Rosé (wonderful Rosé wine spritzer)
- Vodka
- Gin
Substituting Grenadine in Halloween Syringe Drinks
No grenadine? No problem! You can also add red cranberry juice to the syringes for a similar effect. As long as the liquid in the syringe is dark red, you will be fine. The red liquid gushing into the Sprite is a fun Halloween effect!
Buying Syringes for Syringe Halloween Mocktails or Cocktails
At Halloween time, it isn’t hard to find the plastic syringes necessary to pull off this Halloween drink. A lof of the Halloween party supply shops carry them this time of year. They typically come in 1 1/2 to 2 2 1/2 inch sizes. I recommend finding some that can fit about 2 ounces of red liquid inside. And look for the ones with a lid. The lids are a must or your red liquid will be gushing out the wrong way!
You can also find plastic Halloween syringes on Amazon for a quick and easy delivery without the hunt.
Filling the Syringes
To fill your syringes for Halloween syringe drinks, start by preparing the grenadine or cranberry juice into a tall glass. Once your mixture is ready, take a clean plastic syringe and submerge the tip into the liquid, pulling the plunger back to draw the colorful concoction in. Fill them up evenly to a certain line marking on your syringe.
