Today’s post comes from a twenty minute idea I had a few hours before my girls’ Halloween birthday party last year. These Halloween juice boxes make the cutest Halloween drinks for kids!

Technically, I used the Hugs juice boxes just like I do for for my love bug Valentine juice boxes. Unlike the love bug juice boxes, which can take several hours to prepare, these Halloween juice boxes only take twenty minutes or so.
Also, they can be made with things you have around the house, such as markers, googly eyes. Okay, so you may not have these laying around the house…but we usually do. And, if not, these items are super easy to find.
Let Kids Help Make these Halloween Juice Boxes
My girls jumped right in, eager to attach googly eyes and draw on silly monster faces with markers. Of course, the extra help means you can knock this little Halloween drinks project out even faster!
In no time at all, we had made 24 festive Hugs juice boxes for Halloween.
How to Make These Halloween Juice Boxes
The supply list for making these fun Halloween drinks for kids is simple. We prefer to use the Hug juices because they do not come with individual labels on the bottles. If you don’t want to use the Hug Juice Barrels, you can always use any small juice or soda bottles and remove the labels yourself. Just make sure the bottles are plastic.
You need:
Adhesive Squares (only if you are using non-adhesive googly eyes)

Candy Corn Party Theme
Since it was going to be an afternoon party, we stuck to a menu of cupcakes, juices, and…well…lots of candy! That’s the glory of an outdoor Halloween party. The kids associate Halloween with candy anyway, making the menu easy. Candy, candy, candy!
For Halloween party favors, I bought $1 Halloween buckets from Target and added individual bags of popcorn and a small handful of candy. Throughout the party, there was opportunity for the kids to win more candy.
Outdoor Halloween Games
Spiderweb Game (Halloween Cake Walk Variation)
To win more candy, the kids had to win games. We had a spiderweb candy walk (our version of the traditional cake walk).
The winner of each round of our Halloween cake walk won an extra handful of candy.
Toilet Paper Mummy Game
We also had a mummy wrapping contest using the cheap toilet paper we had left from the pandemic when the more ideal toilet paper was readily available. No better way to use up low-quality toilet paper than with mummy toilet paper games!
We put the kids in teams and gave all the teams 3 minutes to transform one team mate into a mummy! The winning team got to raid the candy basket for 10 pieces of their choosing. The losing teams still got to pick a few pieces of candy, because, you know….kids.
Kids in Costumes at our Outdoor Halloween Party
As you can see, all the kiddos were decked out in their Halloween costumes. We timed our party for the afternoon of Halloween so the party was kind of the kick off of the party. Even some of the parents were in costume. So fun!
How cute were my girls in their Halloween genie costumes?
