Welcome! How excited I am to show you our colorful bottlebrush trees display for a Christmas dining table centerpiece! I’m pretty happy with a lot of our Christmas decor this season, but the real scene stealer at my house this year is the display of bottlebrush trees on my dining table.
Decorating the Dining Table
The dining room is a place I try to keep especially festive. We entertain a lot during the holidays, and I want this area to pop. As per several other Christmas tablescapes I have made, I enjoy mixing black-and-white graphics with bright pops of color. Be sure to swing by my black and white Christmas tour to see more of this color combination! Or you might want to see how I decorate with plants on the Christmas table. And if plants are your jam, you will want to see some ideas for decorating with plants and giving the same Christmas plants for gifts. You would probably also like my plants and pom pom Christmas tour and my boho Christmas decor.
Some people spell it “bottlebrush trees” while others spell it “bottle brush trees.” Either way, these colorful Christmas trees are right up my alley! There are different bottlebrush tree varieties. Some bottle brush trees are more spiky than others. Some are mini bottle brush trees while large bottle brush trees are up two a couple feet tall. Some bottle brush trees have glitter and others don’t.
I love how the pink bottlebrush tree pops against the lime green bottle brush tree! Oh, and the orange bottlebrush tree against that electric blue brush tree is just a perfect color match, no?
As for the place settings, I kept things grounded with gold chargers. Each setting has a different color combination of Fiestaware to coordinate with the little colorful trees.
Where to Buy Bottlebrush Trees?
The stores the last few years have exploded with bottlebrush trees. Last year, I bought mine from a combination of stores: Target (dollar aisle!), Hobby Lobby, Michael’s, Walmart, and Home Goods. Just when I think I have enough bottle brush trees, I spy some new colors and more come home with me. I would still love to add at least one yellow bottlebrush tree and another red bottle brush tree or two. Also, it would be fun to add some flocked bottle brush trees to my collection for a completely different vibe. (If you haven’t noticed, I’m trying to play fair with these spelling variations, but it’s driving me bonkers!)
I hope you enjoyed checking out our colorful Christmas trees! They make for a lovely Christmas table display!
