I am finally getting around to posting my boho Christmas decor! I have to say last year’s boho Christmas mantle was my absolute favorite so far! And I was also pretty happy with my boho Christmas dining table decorations!
In case you haven’t picked up from my Insta, my Pinterest, or this little bloggity blog, I’m pretty smitten with boho styles.
I’m going to try to keep this post short and sweet. After all, it’s the pictures you are here for, right?
Boho Christmas Mantle
I’ve posted in previous years ideas for centerpiece ideas using Christmas bottle brush trees displays. There was my bottle brush tree display for the dining table. Well, this year, the bottle brush trees found a new spot – my boho Christmas mantle. That’s the great thing about bottle brush trees. They can be worked in so many ways – in a single display, in small groups, or in large clusters.
Also, see the bottle brush display displayed in my breakfast nook in my latest plants and pom pom Christmas home tour!
I have purchased these cute little trees here-and-there for several years now. Some are from Hobby Lobby (which has great deals on them at certain times), Target, Home Goods, etc. I find that some bottle brush trees are way overpriced. Sure, some are fancier than others. For me, the colorful plain ones work great!
Of course, you can always learn how to make DIY bottle brush trees.
For the boho Christmas decor, I tried several arrangements of the bottle brush trees. First, I had all the colors mixed as evenly as possible. Next, I tried it in more of a color grouping formation.
“Not quite rainbow,” as my seven-year-old daughter said, since I “didn’t follow the rainbow pattern properly.”
But I love it! We added a simple rope light behind it, running the length of the mantle. The light really adds a soft glow. The pom pom Christmas garland with beads is from At Home.
I like to vary the size of the bottle brush Christmas trees so it looks like a colorful forest.
Dining Table Set Up
Few things make me happier in my Christmas decorations collection than these boho Christmas trees! These felt trees add so much spunk and whimsy to the room. I bought one of them during our trip to Garvan Gardens in the gift shop. The largest felt Christmas tree is from Home Goods. It was handmade in India, and I love the global vibe it gives. Home Goods had a second smaller one, and I have regrets that I didn’t buy it, also. The smallest pom pom tree is from At Home.
The cute festive plates are from the Target dollar spot, as are the coordinating table runners. The little Christmas tree napkin rings are from Hobby Lobby. They tie in so well to the living room mantle.
Boho Christmas Tree
To go along with the table, I made the skinny pencil tree in the dining room a boho Christmas tree. Since our big tree in the living room showcases all of our sentimental family-collected ornaments, I wanted to add a boho themed Christmas tree somewhere!
Over the last few years, I have collected Christmas tassel garlands and tassel Christmas ornaments. Even with several boho tassel garlands and yarn ornaments, the tree is still a bit bare. However, I’m sure I’ll collect more boho Christmas ornaments to add over the years.

How much was the large felt tree you purchased from HomeGoods?
I found one with no price on it and the sales people were trying to make one up which I thought was ridiculously high for HOMEGoods. Thank you!

Hi Andrea! I want to say the large tree was around $60. I know I probably could have made it for much less, but I just wasn’t blessed with the crafting gene!
Roberta
Love your boho! Where did you purchase large felt tree? Also where to buy table linens?
The Gifted Gabber
Hi! Thank you! I bought the large felt tree at Home Goods. And the linens were actually from the Target dollar spot last year!!
