Handmade Halloween Dresses – What We Wore

Long time no see, kids fashionista friends! I am excited to be back to day with our handmade Halloween dresses! I have been taking a bit of a break from the mommy-and-me style blog posts due to a backlog of other posts that needed to be published.

If you have followed along with us in the past, you know that my uber talented Mom spoils my daughters (and me) rotten with handmade boutique-style clothing on a regular basis. This month, she created two sets of dresses for Halloween and El Dia de los Muertos.

It was so cute when Mom brought the girls there dresses. Scooter Britches very dramatically signed and oohed and ahhed over her dress.

“Mamita! I love it, Mamita! I love it sooo much, Mamita!”

This, of course, was music to my mom’s ears since SB has been known to be a stinker in the past when it comes to trying on dresses for fittings and such. I was afraid for a while that mom would stop bothering to make anything for them because SB was being so difficult.

And Little One oohed and ahhed too simply because SB was doing it. Monkey see, monkey do around here!

The girls wore their dresses to a friend’s birthday party. There was a petting zoo.

Both girls were a bit sheepish.

And they wore them again to another event so, of course, we had to take more pictures when we got home.
