Five years ago, I probably would have been embarrassed to admit to wearing the same dress for three weddings in a row. But the older and wiser Amy now realizes just how smart it is to have a go-to dress for weddings in the closet. I didn’t have to think long before deciding to wear this blue dress on Moss Mountain Farm last weekend!
And to think – it was even a Target find!
My blogger friend Whitney couldn’t have chosen a better location and date for her multicultural fall wedding. Having been a November bride myself, I’m a bit partial to the month.
The wedding was just gorgeous with pumpkins peeking out from every corner and surface. The Indian-American fusion wedding had the perfect blend of cultural wedding traditions. Whitney wore a white wedding dress and her hubby wore a suit. The wedding party members wore traditional Indian attire – in beautiful colors of gold, teal, and red. The textures were so mesmerizing I wanted to run my hands over all their clothing. But I didn’t! Because that would have been a little weird, huh?
The sun, after hiding behind clouds and a few sprinkles most of the day, revealed itself just as the ceremony was about to start. The view on Moss Mountain Farm was breathtaking. You may remember this post I wrote previously about another visit to Moss Mountain Farm. Y’all, the place is just amazing!
When we first arrived, there was a drink and appetizer station. We ate a samosa appetizer underneath the big ole’ symbolic oak tree on the property. When I visited the property before, P. Allen Smith explained that the house had been made to look aged to match the tree. Many gatherings are held beneath this grand tree.
I finally got to try a samosa. It was delicious!
A musician was beating on a Hindi style drum set, playing soothing Indian music as we mingled and noshed on the appetizers.
My forever wedding date was looking quite handsome out there on that farm.
Man, oh man. Pumpkins for days!
Just look at this pumpkin house! I mean…who thinks of these things?!

Of course, I am choosing not to show the beautiful bride and groom on here so as not to spoil their big online wedding reveal. Just know – it was such a great wedding! Thanks for checking out my blue dress on Moss Mountain Farm. Who knows?! You might see it again soon!
