Apple Dresses – What We Wore

Can it really almost be February? Time flies when you are all bundled and layered up, huh? This week, I am sharing the girls’ apple dresses which were made with love by my mom.

We actually took these pictures in December so you will see Christmas decor in the background, but the apple dresses will continue to be worn throughout the rest of the winter. Red and green do kind of give the outfits a Christmas vibe, but apples can be worn year round so I think it is acceptable for the girls to continue wearing them. What do you think?

I mean, really, it would be great if they could ever stop moving for just one nano second so I could snap a photo. Run, run, run, run, run.

Hopefully, she wasn’t really licking the pinecone?

This one is as wild and silly as she looks.

In these photos, we were just about to take down the decorations from our Christmas porch – kind of a bittersweet afternoon. You know, sad to see the Christmas decor get put away but kind of excited for a fresh new slate also.

We took a few more photos after church.

Scooter Britches wanted to play photographer – which is really funny because her little two-foot-tall self has a hard time getting all of her six-foot tall daddy in the photo.

Those dresses are so cute and I LOVE the pants. Also, if your daughter is anything like my son, that pinecone was totally licked. Haha I loved reading this!
