Disclosure: I am a brand ambassador for National Geographic Kids. I was provided one or more items to review for this post on the National Geographic 3D Viewfinder. #NatGeoKidsInsider
If you haven’t checked out National Geographic Kids recently, you really should. You are probably familiar with the National Geographic Kids magazine, but are you familiar with the games, story books, and toys that the company offers?
I don’t know who had more fun checking out our new National Geographic 3D Viewfinder – the girls or The Hubs!
Did you have a viewfinder when you were a kid? The fun thing about the National Geographic viewfinder is that it is 3D. Yep, technology has come a long way since we were kids, folks! I was thrilled just to get a picture of fireworks or balloons in my view finder as a kid! Occasionally, I was treated to a crazy psychedelic scene!
The National Geographic 3D Viewfinder comes with several different inserts so you can actually change up your view. In one afternoon, we were able to time travel from prehistoric times of the dinosaurs to enjoying an African safari. The timing for us to receive this new toys is perfect because Scooter Britches has been talking a lot about dinosaurs recently. She is pretty intrigued by them.
By the way, if your own child is enchanted by dinosaurs, you should check out this page on the National Geographic website. There are loads of fun games and activities all focused on learning about dinosaurs. Or if safari animals are more the speed for your family, this page has lots of fun games and activities for animals found in the grasslands.
The viewfinder works with your smart phone. After inserting your phone into the viewfinder case, you add one of the film reels.
“I saw a dinosaur in there!”
